The Ethno-Cultural and Linguistically Based Support Services for People Living with Dementia (PLWD) project is a long term, broad-based evaluation of ethno cultural education and support groups for family/caregivers from five ethno cultural immigrant communities. The project will examine and consolidate information about each group’s models’ strengths and gaps; and produce an efficient and sustainable best practice group model that may be replicable. The outcome of the project will be a blueprint for replicating the group model. The Project Manager, reporting to the General Manager, Family & Mental Health, is responsible for ensuring all project objectives and activities are met within the required time frame. This is a non-Union contract position scheduled to work 35 hours per week. |
