Home Childcare Training ProgramCOSTI's Home Childcare Training program, prepares immigrant women to become self-employed as Home Childcare providers, or to secure employment in the home childcare field. The program enhances their child rearing skills and provides them with marketable and transferable skills in the childcare field.The five-week program offers a curriculum on the fundamentals of childcare that is sensitive and respectful of the trainees’ background. Who is EligibleServices are available to immigrant women who are Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, convention refugees or refugee claimants approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.TimesThree days per week for five weeks.
