English Conversation Circle - Click, Connect, Communicate
COSTI’s English Conversation Circle is an excellent opportunity for adult newcomers to Canada to connect virtually and practise listening and speaking skills in a safe, encouraging, and welcoming environment.
Our conversations cover a wide range of topics such as food and nutrition, sports, health, transportation, housing, family, banking, employment, education, Canadian citizenship, and much more!
Services Available
COSTI’s Circle is a great, casual way for English as a Second Language learners to
- improve their English language skills
- build vocabulary
- get familiar with Canadian culture
- develop their speaking confidence
- improve pronunciation
- create new connections
Who is Eligible
Services are available to new immigrants who are permanent residents, conventional refugees, or refugee claimants.
Times
Each Circle runs over 12 weeks and is offered on Wednesdays (4:00 pm – 5:30 pm) and Saturdays (10:00 am – 11:30 am).
