COSTI STAFF RECEIVE BHAYANA FAMILY FOUNDATION TEAM AWARD
COSTI is proud to announce that the Bhayana Family Foundation has recognized our Newcomer Wellness Services Centre, Client Support Services and Mental Health Services, with the United Way Greater Toronto Team Award. The Award is presented to a team that has demonstrated teamwork and commitment towards shared goals to contribute to the success of COSTI.
Team Members received their award at a luncheon hosted by United Way Greater Toronto at Old Mill Toronto on November 19th. The award was presented in recognition of the teams’ work addressing the needs of Syrian newcomers during the government of Canada’s Syrian Refugee Initiative.
The Bhayana Family Foundation Awards recognize extraordinary contributions made by frontline staff and middle managers who are tackling #UNIGNORABLE local issues at agencies supported by the United Way Greater Toronto. Winners are recognized for showing their local love through their dedication, innovation and creativity, leadership, teamwork and partnership.
The awards are made possible through the generous support of Madan and Raksha M. Bhayana and the Bhayana Family Foundation.
