This is a fulltime position scheduled to work 35 hours per week.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to identify website needs, design user-friendly interfaces, and create compelling content.
     
  • Utilize your expertise in web design, multimedia production, and digital marketing to craft materials such as social media graphics, email invitations, newsletters, and accessible PDFs. Moreover, you will continually assess and optimize website functionality based on user feedback and SEO research, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
     
  • Develop content for various digital channels, including blog posts, emails, newsletter articles, and social media content. You will contribute to building a strong communication culture in line with COSTI's brand, mission, and values, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
     
  • Stay current with emerging digital trends and best practices, monitor website data using tools like Google Analytics 4, and prepare reports to assess the impact of communication and marketing efforts. Your role involves interaction with various stakeholders, vendors, and external agencies to ensure the success of digital marketing and communication tactics.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Publishing, Design or related field, or College diploma, or an equivalent of four (4) years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working and performing the same or similar tasks.
     
  • Three (3) years of related experience in website design and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of social and digital media.
     
  • Proficiency in web development, design tools, content management systems, and analytic tools is essential.
     
  • Capable of creating AODA-compliant websites and content that resonates with diverse audiences.
     
  • Skilled in Google Analytics 4; social media publishing and listening tools (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon, Sysomos, etc.) and strategy/content development, application packages (Microsoft Office 365 suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sway), design, and publishing software, (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, InDesign, Canva).
     
  • Proficiency in project management, problem-solving, and effective communication.Excellent writing and creative skills.
     
  • High degree of organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
     
  • Being results-oriented, creative, and proactive will enable you to succeed in this position. Superior attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are also crucial. Above all, you should share a deep commitment to COSTI's mission, values, and goals.
