Youth Leadership Program
The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) supports and empowers newcomer youth and young people in ethnocultural communities with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become active and responsible leaders in their communities.
Through a combination of interactive workshops, mentorship, hands-on projects, and community engagement activities, participants will develop competencies in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management.
The program also emphasizes social responsibility, cultural awareness, and civic engagement, encouraging youth to take initiative in addressing issues that matter to them locally and globally. By fostering leadership potential at an early stage, the program aims to build a new generation of thoughtful, inclusive, and effective leaders who are prepared to create positive change.
Staff in this program speaks English, Chinese and Ukrainian.
