Cybersecurity Plus Bridging Program
The program will serve internationally trained individuals with a background in Information Technology to obtain Cybersecurity micro credentials from Sheridan College preparing them for CompTIA Security + Certification. This will help clients secure a breakthrough in the high demand cybersecurity domain. The training will cover several areas from introduction to Security to Disaster Recovery that will prepare clients to be successful in passing the certification exam.
The program has built an employer-designed 4-8 weeks of Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Project. By successfully completing a WIL project, clients demonstrate their technical skills, develop a portfolio to showcase their skills, and increase their employability through acquiring proven employment experience and references.
This program is offered in hybrid mode for candidates in the GTA and surrounding areas.
Bursary is available for eligible candidates.

Who is Eligible
- Be at least 18 years old and a resident of Ontario
- Have an appropriate combination of both international training and international work experience in a high skilled occupation
- Have appropriate language proficiency at or equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 6 or higher
- Permanent Resident, Naturalized Canadian citizen, Provincial nominee under ONIP, Refugee claimant with valid work permit
- Individual in Canada on a temporary work permit who has received confirmation from IRCC
