Housing Drop-In

COSTI’s Housing Drop-In program is designed to meet the specific needs of individuals and families who are under-housed, homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless, facing cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic barriers to suitable housing.

Services Available

  • Information and referrals towards securing sustainable housing and preventing eviction
  • Search for affordable market rent units
  • Help with applications for subsidized housing
  • Volunteer activities providing meaningful work experience and reduction in social isolation

Staff at this location speak: Albanian, Arabic, Farsi, French, Greek, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Twi, Russian and Spanish. Other languages may be made available upon request.

Who is Eligible

Services are available to anyone residing in the North York area who is under-housed, at risk of becoming homeless and/or who faces cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic barriers to suitable housing.

Program Intake

Drop-In Hours Monday to Friday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Does the landlord have a right to increase my rent?

Your landlord has the right to increase your rent, once every twelve months. You must receive a 90 days written notice before the increase.
