Seniors Help Seniors Program
COSTI's Seniors Help Seniors program is designed to assist seniors to establish and live a rich, vibrant and meaningful lifestyle. By grouping together independent seniors and seniors with early onset of Dementia to participate in age appropriate and culturally relevant activities, the Seniors Help Seniors program aims to break down myths and misunderstandings around Dementia and Dementia Care.
Through peer interaction, the seniors enjoy friendship and companionship. Meanwhile, independent seniors who volunteer in the program, increase their level of awareness, improve their knowledge and understanding on dementia and develop interest and confidence in their future interaction with Dementia.
Individuals interested in volunteering in the program can enroll by contacting COSTI’s Elderly Person’s Centre and CBAO Seniors Day Program.
