Empowering people with the tools to succeed is at the core of what we do at COSTI.

Our Employment Services Division offer supports necessary to help individuals get job-ready. From training to goal setting and résumé writing to networking and confidence building to connecting to the right employers; COSTI helps newcomers to successfully enter or re-enter the labour market.

Programs like our Expressway Cybersecurity Bridging program and Pathways to Early Childhood Education help internationally trained newcomers bridge employment gaps. Individuals get help with job search, career planning and employment preparation, and can gain valuable temporary Canadian work experience through mentoring programs for newcomers with professional experience, to reconnect with their careers.

COSTI’s Employment Services Division works with individuals to develop career plans, provide networking opportunities and job fairs, and help youth to gain practical experience. As part of our work, COSTI has built relationships with over 230 employer partners, and in 2022/23, successfully helped 69% of job seekers in COSTI’s community secure employment.
